In these workshops we'll create art that quiets us and opens us, art that invites us to get messy (physically + emotionally) and hopefully art that allows us to channel/shut off/ process/ appreciate the ups and downs that come with living through grief. We'll play around with lots of different materials and techniques to let you find what works for you. Whether it be through large expressive brushstrokes or super small detailed line work, healing is happening. something about the repetition of these movements that hushes all the noise in our brains, and when we're lucky, this peace give space to new ideas (ideas even better than the ones that come to you in the shower).
This workshop we'll take what we've discovered from the first two workshops and create something BIG. we'll work with large scale drawings/ paintings / collage to give lots of space to process all those emotions inside of us. it's gonna be real fun. and we'll probably also dance while doing it, if you want to of course
