In this writing workshop we will introduce the concept of writing as a way of healing. As research has shown,translating traumatic experiences into words can help to organize and structure these events and heal both mind and body. Writing about grief and loss can be a powerful means to discover strength, wisdom, depth, energy and wholeness. Most importantly, writing is a means to claim your own voice, to tell your story and to share the gift of your work with others to enrich and deepen our understanding of grief. In this workshop we will read, write and share to transform our losses into language in a safe community. Please bring a journal or notebook and a writing utensil.
